A Vision for Transformation: Dr. Pedersen speaks about the future

Dr. Jon E. Pedersen arrived in Stillwater this past summer, brimming with energy and excitement about the future of the new College of Education and Human Sciences that he’s now leading. Pedersen joined the Cowboy family following five years as dean of the University of South Carolina’s College of Education. He has more than 30 years of experience as a faculty member and administrator, including appointments at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the University of Oklahoma, East Carolina University and the University of Arkansas- Fayetteville.

Meet Kirstin Sylvester: Counseling Psychology Ph.D. student

Kirstin Sylvester originally planned to work in medicine but after taking a child psychology course at her undergraduate institution she realized she was better suited to provide therapy services. Sylvester chose to pursue her Ph.D. at Oklahoma State University because of the special opportunities the Counseling Psychology program offers.
