“Draw What Makes You Happy” – The Weary Teacher

Also, maybe in someone way when they see me wearing it and how proud I am of the work they’ve done, they will take pride in being kind and the work they’ve done."

Falling for research: OSU freshman honored for work on projects

There’s more to a fall than a simple loss of motor skills. So perhaps there should be more to trying to predict the risk of a fall than merely measuring motor skills. The idea intrigued Taryn Blackstock, a freshman majoring in applied exercise science. She had been selected as a Freshman Research Scholar, expanding her education beyond the classroom by engaging in research projects. Blackstock worked with College of Education, Health and Aviation faculty member Jason DeFreitas and graduate students in the Applied Neuromuscular Physiology Lab.

Oklahoma State University’s Cleo L. Craig Child Development Laboratory has achieved a new five-year term of accreditation from National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Less than 10 percent of all child care centers, preschools and kindergartens nationally acquire this recognition.
