OSU faculty to pilot program for technology literacy

Oklahoma State University faculty from the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology, College of Education and Human Sciences, Ferguson College of Agriculture and Spears School of Business are teaming up to pilot the use of a novel educational tool for technology literacy.

Two faculty appointed co-executive directors for national science and mathematics association

Two Oklahoma State University College of Education, Health and Aviation faculty members were recently appointed co-executive directors for the School of Science and Mathematics Association (SSMA). Dr. Toni Ivey, associate professor of science education, and Dr. Stephanie Hathcock, assistant professor of science education, began their five-year term on July 1, 2019.

Julie Angle receives science education award

Dr. Julie Angle, associate professor in science education and Bill and Billie Dean Buckles Innovation in Teaching Endowed Professor, is the recipient of the 2019 Jack Renner Distinguished Service to Oklahoma Science Education Award from the Oklahoma Science Teachers Association. Angle received the award, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of science education in Oklahoma, at the organization’s annual summer conference earlier this month.
