OSU Extension empowers Oklahoma communities with hands-on learning and youth leadership

During the first quarter of 2025, Oklahoma State University Extension provided hands-on learning, fostered new partnerships and helped Oklahomans of all ages build practical skills for everyday life. From classrooms that sparked curiosity to youth-led service projects reaching across state lines, county educators met local needs with creativity and dedication.

Grady County 4-H’er Maggie Evans inducted into Oklahoma 4-H Hall of Fame

Maggie Evans of Grady County was inducted into the Oklahoma 4-H Hall of Fame during the 104th State 4-H Roundup. A Rock Island 4-H member, Evans earned the honor for her leadership in healthy living, STEM and civic engagement. She received $6,500 in scholarships and Blue Award Group recognition.
