OSU alumnus creates new technology aimed at revolutionizing at-home infusion treatment

Mitchell Berenson left corporate medicine in 2008 with the goal of creating strong IV infusion programs in rural hospitals. His company, Infusion Solutions, now works with 40 hospitals in 22 states, and, with the help of OSU’s entrepreneurial program, he’s launched a new product that could revolutionize in-home infusion treatment.

OSU Library Receives Grant to Digitize Flying Farmers Footage

Cecil recognized for excellence in mentoring

Dr. Joe Cecil recently received a Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring from the National Science Foundation. Dr. Cecil was recognized for his unique approach to mentoring and encouraging minority and under-represented to pursue STEM educations and careers through Virtual Reality based Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) as part of a grassroots program called Soaring Eagle Program which he started 22 years ago.

Unmanned Systems Research Institute partners with Boeing to create internship with ties to NASA project

OSU’s Unmanned Systems Research Institute (USRI) and Boeing have formed a partnership that will fund a summer internship for a Native American high school student to work at USRI. USRI is led by Dr. Jamey Jacob who is a mechanical and aerospace engineering professor in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology.
