Horn of Plenty: Alumni gift 40 custom trombones to OSU Marching Band

Oklahoma State University’s Michael and Anne Greenwood School of Music recently received a gift that struck a nostalgic chord: OSU alumni Bob and Pam Spinks donated 40 Getzen trombones to support the Cowboy Marching Band.

CAS alumnus Chappabitty Jr. inducted into the Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame

On Oct. 28, Oklahoma State University College of Arts and Sciences alumnus Dr. Edwin Chappabitty Jr. (1941-2021) was posthumously inducted into the Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame. Chappabitty was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, and graduated from OSU in 1967 with a bachelor’s degree in zoology.
