Panel discussion Thursday to explore U.S presidency’s impact on global engagement

In a special event co-sponsored by the School of Global Studies and Partnerships and the College of Arts and Sciences, a three-person panel of experts from OSU will gather Thursday to address “Consequences of the Presidential Election on U.S. Global Engagement.” The discussion will be streamed online at OState.TV at 5:30 p.m., with Dr. Randy Kluver — dean and associate provost of the School of Global Studies and Partnerships — acting as moderator.

Oklahoma State University President Burns Hargis announces retirement plans

Oklahoma State University President Burns Hargis announced today his plans to retire on July 1, 2021, to coincide with the end of the current academic year. Hargis announced his retirement plans during a regular meeting of the OSU/A&M Board of Regents held in the Performance Hall at The McKnight Center for the Performing Arts on the Stillwater campus, one of several significant new facilities built during his nearly 13-year presidency.
