OSU hosts annual Special Olympics Summer Games for 40th year in a row

Nearly 4,000 athletes from every corner of Oklahoma competed in the 2023 Special Olympics State Summer Games on the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater, May 17-19. While OSU has long served as host for the event, for the very first time, a team of athletes and partners represented the university as OSU Unified competed in 3v3 Basketball and Bocce.

Special Olympics Summer Games return to OSU campus

After two years of cancellations because of COVID-19, the Oklahoma Special Olympics Summer Games will return to the Oklahoma State University-Stillwater campus May 11-13. This year will mark the 37th Summer Games hosted at OSU and the 52nd anniversary of the Summer Games in Oklahoma.
