OSU faculty member and ag economics alumna support New Frontiers

Not only are Rodney Jones and Karen Eifert Jones passionate about Oklahoma State University and the Ferguson College of Agriculture, they also are devoted to giving back. The couple from Waukomis, Oklahoma, made the decision to become major gift donors for the New Frontiers campaign, which continues to raise funds to build a state-of-the-art teaching, research and Extension facility for OSU Agriculture.

Gift to Horticulture Education Center Project will help create new building at The Botanic Garden at OSU

The Oklahoma WONDERtorium Board recently made a $45,000 donation to the Horticulture Education Center Project, which will create a new building at The Botanic Garden at Oklahoma State University featuring a classroom, public restrooms and an office.

Ray and Linda Booker Flight Center marks new chapter for OSU Aviation

The facility was named in recognition of a $1 million gift from Linda Booker and her late husband, Ray, who graduated from OSU A&M in 1957. They both held private pilot licenses, were passionate about aviation and wanted to increase the number of OSU-trained pilots around the world.

Phil and Ruth Terry of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, chose to name the Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education Teaching Lab for the Department of Agricultural Education, Communications and Leadership in honor of Phil’s brother, Robert (Bob) Terry Sr., and nephew, Robert (Rob) Terry Jr. The Dr. Bob Terry Teaching Lab will be located on the second floor of the New Frontiers Agricultural Hall.
