College of Arts and Sciences honors 25 alumni at Hall of Fame Ceremony

Oklahoma State University’s College of Arts and Sciences honored 25 of its most successful alumni Sept. 27 during the 2019 CAS Distinguished Alumni & Hall of Fame Ceremony at the Wes Watkins Center for International Trade & Development. Ardoth Hassler and Dr. George Thompson were both inducted into the Hall of Fame, while Brent Butcher and Maddy Cunningham were named Rising Stars. There were also 21 Distinguished Alumni recipients.

Oklahoma State University Mortar Board awards four CEAT students as Top Freshmen Men and Women

Each year members of the Oklahoma State University Mortar Board Honor Society select the top 20 freshmen men and top 20 freshmen women of OSU. This year, nine of those students are representing the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT), where these nine students will be invited to be a CEAT scholar.

A group of Tulsa researchers receives $1.9M award

A team of three Tulsa based researchers have been awarded a three year, $1.9 million contract, with $1.5 million coming from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The award was given based on their efforts on developing environmentally sustainable process for recovering oil and natural gas from unconventional shale resources.
