Southwood Landscape and Garden Center is making a $25,000 donation toward Oklahoma State University’s new Greenhouse Learning Center. Combined with a gift of $25,000 from co-founder Joe Schulte, the $50,000 total gift will contribute to the learning center’s state-of-the-art nursery, which will be named the Southwood Landscape & Nursery Prep Area.

The music junior sometimes encounters unexpected challenges working toward her goal of becoming a music teacher. But she was recently bolstered by unexpected support as the inaugural recipient of the Janice C. Jones Endowed Wheelchair Scholarship.

While most Mondays are easily forgotten, that was not the case for Jordan Webb, graduating elementary education senior in the Oklahoma State University College of Education, Health and Aviation, who was surprised with a life-changing gift on Monday afternoon. Bryan Close, OSU alumnus, announced that he was paying off Webb’s student loan debt through a scholarship award.
