OSU Honors College Odyssey of the Mind team wins third at World Finals

The Oklahoma State University Honors College Odyssey of the Mind team placed third in the World Finals competition at Michigan State University in May. More than 900 teams participated in this year’s event, representing nearly every state and over 20 countries. There were four divisions from elementary to collegiate teams and five problems the teams could choose to explore.

NAE selects OSU team to represent U.S. at the 2019 Global Grand Challenges Summit

Faruque selected for Navy research award

Oklahoma State University’s Dr. Imraan Faruque was selected as a 2019 Office of Naval Research Young Investigator. His project was one of 25 selected from 260 applications. The honor brings $250,000 per year for two years with an option to extend the program for a third year.

The Aerospace Propulsion and Power Program in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) at OSU scored the highest turbojet thrust-to-weight improvement at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) sponsored Aerospace Propulsion Outreach Program (APOP) challenge held in Dayton, OH at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on May 15 – 18th.
