OSU Research wins Hall of Fame Competition

A group of OSU researchers in the school of chemical engineering (ChE) were recently named winners of the 10th annual ANSYS Hall of Fame competition for their work in Transient Airflow and Particle Transport Dynamics in an Elastic Lung Model. They were one of three academic winners from across the world.

CHE Professors White and Aichele Awarded American Chemical Society Grant

The American Chemical Society has recognized the collaborative work of PI Dr. Jeffery White and co-PI Dr. Clint Aichele, faculty in the Chemical Engineering Department, by awarding them an American Chemical Society “New Directions” grant in the amount of $110,000 for two years.

OSU AIChE Earns Outstanding Student Chapter Award

CEAT Alumnus Gives $2.5 Million Gift to School of Chemical Engineering

Carl Robertson, OSU alumnus, has announced a $2.5 million estate gift to the school of chemical engineering in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University. This is the largest individual gift in the history of the school.

Desharnais becomes first OSU student to win top undergraduate honor in chemical engineering

Sarah Desharnais, a chemical engineering senior in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University, was named the first OSU student to receive the 2018 John J. McKetta Undergraduate Scholarship Award by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). Desharnais will receive the award, which includes a $5,000 scholarship, at the 2018 Annual AIChE Student Conference in Pittsburgh on Oct. 26. Only one student nationwide is awarded this honor each year.
