McNair Scholars program supports underrepresented students

To mark the end of its first year of operation, the McNair Scholars Program for undergraduates at Oklahoma State University is celebrating with its inaugural group of 25 scholars. The program provides research opportunities and academic support to first-generation, low-income and underrepresented undergraduate students to help them prepare to pursue doctoral degrees.

OSU receives Institute for Museum and Library Services grant

The OSU Library was recently awarded nearly $25,000 from the Institute of Museum and Library Services to develop a research model and project management toolkit to help libraries enhance research data management. Using customer journey mapping and design thinking, the project team will consult 27 OSU faculty across STEM fields and the social sciences to document their goals, processes and habits.

OSU-CHS was the beneficiary of two significant gifts, $1 million from the Joseph E. Robert, Jr. Charitable Trust, and $1.8 million from the Estate of Audrey M. Hendershot.
