NBA Star's Personal Chef to Kick-off Cowboy Chef’s Table Series

OSUIT's LEGO Robotics Camp Aims to Spark Kids' Interest in STEM

The children, ages nine to 12, worked in teams for three days building and programming their LEGO robots to complete an array of tasks and obstacles. This was the first of two LEGO Robotics Camps offered this summer by OSU Institute of Technology. The first was held June 13 through 15, and the second will be July 11 through 13.

School of Energy Technologies Dean to Retire After 26 Years at OSUIT

Roy Achemire, dean of the School of Energy Technologies, is retiring from OSUIT after a 26 year career at the university. There will be a retirement reception on June 23 from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Chesapeake Energy Natural Gas Compression Training Center.

OSUIT Students Take in History, Culture on British Isles Study Abroad Trip

Four students and a faculty member from OSU Institute of Technology took on the challenge of visiting three countries in the British Isles in 11 days. The study abroad trip included time in Ireland, Wales and England. The students who participated earned humanities credits and a lifetime of memories.

Outstanding Faculty, Staff Award Winners Honored at Employee Banquet

The 2017 Outstanding Faculty and Staff Awards were announced Tuesday night at the annual Employee Banquet. Jamie Diggins, nursing instructor, was given the Outstanding Faculty Award. Outstanding Certified Staff Award went to Eric Covey, public relations coordinator in the Office of Marketing & Communications, and Bo Hudson, director of Residential Life and chief conduct officer, was recognized with the Outstanding Professional Staff Award.
