CVM, CEAT team up to treat spinal cord injuries in dogs

Traumatic spinal cord injuries, degenerative spinal cord diseases and chronic neuropathic pain are all neurological lesions. Neurological lesions negatively affect the function, wellness and overall quality of life for humans and animals. These conditions are not uncommon but can be complicated to treat effectively.

CEAT professors researching solar-powered desalination technology for oil and gas industry

Researchers in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology are beginning a three-year project to develop advanced solar-powered desalination technology to treat produced water from the oil and gas industry. Negative aspects of produced water are that it can include things like oil, grease and salts. It can also contain dissolved gases and radioactive materials.
