
Oklahoma State University has launched a new prestigious scholarship program with generous support from several Cowboy alumni. In collaboration with President Jim Hess, 12 alumni families have joined together to launch the Horizon Scholars program, which will create a unique educational experience and provide renewable, four-year support for incoming first-time freshmen.

Sophia Darrow, an OSU horticulture graduate student, is conducting surveys centered around the barriers grocery stores face with the goal of connecting the fields of horticulture, nutrition and business together to create awareness for people in the food industry and adjacent fields.

The Department of Wellness in collaboration with University Counseling Services, the Office of Student Support and the Center for Family Resilience at Oklahoma State University is wrapping up its third cohort of the Student Support Certification Program — an initiative designed to train faculty and staff to recognize, respond to and support students facing mental health challenges.
